So I would like to tell you that there are many beautiful and historical places in Chitlang and nearby Chitlang. The places that you can visit in Chitlang or The Attractions of Chitlang are:-

1. Swochhanda Bhairab Temple
Swochhanda Bhairab Temple is one of the famous temple nearby. It is located in the forest beside the clean flowing river. Locals use this water for drinking purpose. You can worship here and pray for yourself and for your family. You can see the beautiful natural scenario from here. Swochhanda Bhairab Temple is just 5 min walk from Narayanhiti (place in Chitlang). You can visit Khakhu-8 village which is just 15 min walk from this temple.

2. Satdhara
Satdhara is one of the best Attractions of Chitlang. Water from seven taps is used for bathing by the pilgrims and for drinking purpose. Taps are dry during dry season.

3. Bhedafaram
Bhedafaram is one of the beautiful scenario available in Neapl. It is a multi-layered ground available in Chitlang. There is no word to describe this place. It is a must visit place in Chitlang. If you don’t know the road then you can consult to the locals nearby. It is just half an hour walk from the village.
4. Krishna Temple in Bisinkhel
It is a famous temple of Lord Krishna in Chitlang. But not exactly in Chitlang. It is about 1 and half hour walk from the Chitlang village.
5. Shikhardham
It is located at the top of Lamichhane village. It is a temple of Lord Shiva and is located just below the jungle. You can see the beautiful nature of Chitlang from there. Genarally the tour agency do not take you there due to lack of time. There you will get the opportunity to explore the life style and culture of locals.

6. Markhu, Kulekhani
Markhu is famous for boating , eating fish or just viewing the beautiful lake. Markhu is an idle place due to the presence of Nepal’s Largest man made lake- Indra Sarobar Lake. I am sure you will be confused that is it really a man made lake. It is larger than what you imagine. It is about 3 hour walk from Chitlang. Or you can directly visit Markhu by bus from Balkhu Kathmandu

Note: We visited Chitlang in dry season that's why we didn't collect very beautiful photos. This place is more beautiful in wet season.
